Late evening beaver sighting canoe trip in Matsalu National Park
Matsalu National Park includes the shallow Matsalu Bay, nearly 50 islands and islets, and the surrounding Väinameri Sea. The largest of its kind by the Baltic Sea is the Kasari estuary – a nesting and feeding place for migratory birds, but mammals also like the high reed. As the evening arrives, we will watch the beavers on the Kasari River, but we might also notice kingfishers and roe. The trip will be accompanied by an experienced instructor who will guide the participants. The trip takes place in eight-seater canoes. Teamwork is necessary for a smooth ride in the big canoe, while some hikers can relax and film and photograph the nature in the meantime. The trip is suitable for everyone.
