Pärnu’s bus station is situated in the center of town, in the immediate vicinity of the old town, at Pikk 13. The bus station is open every day from 6:30 am to 9 pm. 
During those hours the WC, disabled WC, mother-and-child room and showers are open as well. You can access the toilets from both the waiting hall and the platforms. The toilets cost 40 cents and the showers an additional 2 euros.

Passengers will find plastic chairs and soft sofas at Pärnu’s bus station waiting hall, so even a longer wait is comfortable. There is free WiFi and plugs in the tables and walls, so you can charge your electronics.  At the bus station you will also find a nice traveler’s library and you can take a book to browse while waiting, or even bring it along on the bus.

Luggage storage

The hours of Cargobus luggage storage at Pärnu’s bus station are:

  • M-F 8am – 6pm

The luggage storage must be prepaid, and costs between 2€-4€ depending on weight. The luggage storage does not accept pets, valuable items or food. Packages that have not been claimed in 6 months will be disposed of.

There are also luggage storage lockers at the bus station, which are accessible when the bus station is open. The next closest storage lockers are located on the first floor of the Pärnu Keskus shopping center at Aida 7.

Food

You can sit, relax and get a bite to eat at the bus station’s cafes nearly any time the waiting hall is open. Feel free to grab a bottle of water or a light snack to go from the kiosk shop.

  • Cafe-shop R-Kiosk (M-F 6.30am – 9pm, Sat-Sun 8am – 8pm) 

Routes and tickets

Buses to other major cities and towns depart from Pärnu’s bus station.  Pärnu has direct connections with Tallinn, Tartu, Viljandi, Rakvere, Haapsalu, and Saaremaa. Local lines within Pärnu County also depart from this station. Tickets for local lines are 1,5-2€.

International lines to and from Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Saint Petersburg and Minsk and others also stop at Pärnu’s bus station. It is advised to buy tickets for international and domestic lines in advance.

Bicycle storage

Free bicycle storage is available at the bus station, although you need to bring your own lock. In the storage facility you can use a pump for both presta and schrader tubes and wash your bike during the warm season. There is video surveillance in the bike storage facility as well as everywhere else inside and surrounding the bus station.
