Kabli Bird Centre

In autumn, a giant, 17-metre high mesh net is erected at the Kabli bird centre in order to catch birds to be ringed and to study their migratory habits – activities that have been ongoing at the centre for over 50 years. Here you will discover the secrets of bird migration, witness ornithology in practice and enjoy the beautiful coastal landscape. There is a fascinating study trail covering the 1.8 km between the bird centre and the Kabli nature centre, along which you come across information stands, all manner of bird’s nests and several towers for bird-watching and nature appreciation. The Kabli bird centre operates yearly from mid-August to around the beginning of November. The bird centre's activity is managed by Estonia's Environment Agency.
