Kihnu is a wonderful island of treasures – we welcome excitement seekers who wish to enjoy authentic, everyday life on Kihnu, experience the thrilling history of the island and its rich legacy of culture and arts – all priceless!

The youth and elderly of Kihnu in red striped traditional skirts and colourful headscarves, authentic and wonderful Kihnu language, different village parties and dance parties, fishermen at port and on sea are all a part of our authentic daily life!

During the summer, Kihnu is buzzing with wonderful sounds, during the autumn and winter we can listen and feel spiritual calmness and the stopping of time.

Metsamaa heritage farm is the place where many wonderful instrumental music events have begun. The traditional farm complex exhibits, values and promotes the local ways of life and we also keep alive the folk calendar holidays and local traditions.
