Pärnu has no losers
If anything is going to be done in Pärnu, it will be big. This also applies to sports. Sporting events attract thousands of athletes to the city, be it the Jüri Jaanson Two Bridges Run, the Jõulumäe cycling marathon or the Pärnu Summer Cup international football festival.
Even during the quieter months of the year, there are a couple of dozen sporting events taking place in Pärnu and Pärnu County. From spring to autumn, however, there are two to three times as many major and minor competitions as there are days in a month. Motorcycling, aquatics, athletics, heavy athletics, equestrian and cycling, extreme sports – there is always something to do and experience. A real sports holiday awaits sporting enthusiasts in Pärnu, filled with the ticking of stopwatches, the thumping of feet, the whistling of tyres, and the shouts of victory from morning till night. Losers do not shout. But there are no losers in the competitions organised in Pärnu. Because they take place in Pärnu.
