Viruna Farm - canoeing on bog lakes

Description

A bog is a unique natural phenomenon. Bogs rise like mountains, only in miniature form. However, this mountain resembles a system of lakes. Since ancient times, bogs have appeared mysterious to people. Such is the Naistepuumets.

The guide for this adventure is the owner of Viruna farm. First, we travel by tractor for about an hour. Next, we walk approximately a kilometer through the forest. The path gradually ascends. Finally, the forest ends, and we arrive in a completely different world, home to special plants and creatures.

This is where the most exciting part begins – a canoe trip through the lake system, lasting about three hours. During the journey, the guide shares stories about the bog and the legend of Naistepuumets.
