Häädemeeste Museum
Häädemeeste Museum is a municipality museum established already in 1991. Since 2022 the museum is located in a newly renovated building. The updated exposition is a cross-section of the history of the Häädemeeste region, the development of sailing, and fishing. Ecclesiastical, educational, and cultural history are represented as well. The fascinating objects of everyday use and beauty items in the farmhouse show the living conditions 100 years ago. It is possible to book a guided tour, which provides even more detailed insight to the history of the region. There is a well-known proverb in Häädemeeste - "The life must be lived and the fire must be kept burning!". This is how we keep the life and fire of Häädemeste as the age-old wisdom says.
