Experience with sled dogs and sledding with Siberian Huskies in Pärnumaa at Thurisaz Kennel

You are invited to visit the sled dog kennel Thurisaz in Pärnu County, where you can directly experience the daily life of Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes, the charm of sled dog sports, and sled rides.

The visit begins in a cozy fireplace room where we offer tea and cookies. We introduce the sled dogs and the essence of sled dog sports, and talk about the dogs' life in the kennel and their training. We demonstrate how the dogs are harnessed and attached to the sled. Those interested can also participate in the preparations.

The highlight of the visit is a 2 km sled ride with trained Siberian Huskies and an experienced musher. The sled has a comfortable, safe seat suitable for children. Smaller children can ride with a parent or an older sibling.

After the ride, it is possible to interact with the dogs, walk them, pet them, and take pictures. The experience is suitable for families, groups of friends, and all nature and animal enthusiasts.

The activity takes place outdoors, so we recommend dressing warmly!
