Pärnu Munamäe Park
Description
Pärnu Munamäe Park – greenery, playfulness, history, and views in the heart of the city!
It is one of the six protected parks in the city of Pärnu and holds special significance, as it is the highest natural point in the city. The park, which has a historical background, has emerged as a versatile green area, offering walkers, families and nature lovers recreation and playful moments amid the urban atmosphere.
Several exciting trees grow on the slopes, including a rare black pine and a rather unusual yellow birch, which gives the park botanical value.
In the park, smaller children can play on the swings and dig in a sandbox with small diggers. A fascinating area with trampolines, slides, climbing attractions, and a carousel has been created for older children.
An eye-catching egg-shaped fountain has been set up in the center of the park, from which running water adds freshness and playfulness to the park.
The hilltop of Mount Munamäe offers a view, and in winter you can go sledding.
The playground offers joy and adventure to children of all ages — like a small mountainous world right in the heart of Pärnu!
