The rich history of Estonian folk costumes is recounted by a T\u00f5stamaa handicraft master, who traces influences from different regions and reveals how festive peasant attire evolved into folk costumes. Special attention is given to the clothing of men, women, and children in T\u00f5stamaa.<\/p>\n
During the workshop, we dress a member of the T\u00f5stamaa Handicraft Center in a folk costume, starting with the undershirt and ending with the shawl, to see how traditional clothing is worn layer by layer and becomes a living part of our heritage.<\/p>\n
