In the 18th century, there was a building called the Elephant Barn, and Elephant Street was named after it. In 1936, five elephants from a traveling exhibition from Hamburg brought the public an unforgettable spectacle, and in the 1950s, elephant-shaped slides became the pride of P\u00e4rnu&#8217;s beach.
