1880. aastal ehitatud Kuursaal, restoran ja muusikasalong on läbi aegade olnud Pärnu kuurordielu oluline keskpunkt. Seejuures on suveõhtuti suur osa üritustest toimunud väljas kõlakoja ümber. 1937. aastal linnaarhitekt Olev Siinmaa projekteeritud uus kõlakoda oli Pärnu supelfunktsionalismi elegantne tõlgendus puidus. 1980-tel aastatel toimunud restaureerimisel kaotas see kahjuks palju omaaegset elegantsi. Täna saad Kuursaalis, Eesti suurimas kõrtsis, nautida õhtusöögi juurde muusika- ja tantsuõhtuid, suviti terrassidel rannamelu ning kõlakojas endiselt kaunist muusikat.
