Kõigepealt suundutakse kogenud giidi juhendamisel läbi metsa ning jõutakse Eesti suurima rabani – Kuresooni.
Matkal on abimeesteks räätsad, millega saad elamuse käies seal, kuhu tavaliselt ei pääse. Räätsad ei lase kõndijal vajuda ning rabapinnas ei saa kahjustada.
Pärast einet looduses jätkatakse rahuliku kanuumatkaga mööda Soomaa looklevaid jõgesid.
