Pulli asulakohta saabusid esimesed asukad 10 000-11 000 aastat tagasi. Tegu on Põhja-Euroopa unikaalseima asulapaigaga.
1000 ruutmeetri suuruselt alalt on kogutud 1175 leidu. Leidude hulgas on peamiselt mustast tulekivist, luust ja sarvest esemeid. Musta tulekivi Eesti looduses ei leidu, küll aga Valgevenes ja Lõuna-Leedus. Seetõttu on arvatud, et kivi on kaasa toonud esimesed Eesti alale saabunud, nende hulgas ka Pulli kiviaja asula kütid ja kalastajad.
Pulli asulast leitud koerahammas on vanim tõend kodustatud koera esinemise kohta Eestis.
