Pärnu kesklinnas asuv Koidula park on linna üks armastatumaid parke, kus saab nautida lillede ilu ja purskkaevu vulinat.
Lydia Koidula (1843-1886) oli ärkamisaja tuntud poetess, publitsist, ühiskonnategelane ja esimese eestikeelse teatritüki autor ning Pärnu on tema nooruslinn.
1925. aastal otsustati rajada temale pühendatud monument ning park. Amandus Adamsoni loodud skulptuur avati pidulikult 1929. aastal. See jäi ühtlasi skulptori viimaseks tööks.
