Kolme kilomeetri pikkune rada kulgeb osaliselt taastuva jääksoo servas, osaliselt läbi Lavassaare alevi vanema osa.
Raja infotahvel ja viis infoposti tutvustavad turvast ning siin elavaid taimi ja linde. Soovi korral saad ruutkoodide abil oma loodusvaatluse kirja panna ja teadlaste tööle kaasa aidata. Rajalt viib lühike 30 meetri pikkkune hakkepuidust teelõik vaateplatvormile, kust avaneb vaade õõtsikuks kujunevale endisele turbakaevandusalale. Hea õnne korral võid märgata ka sookurgi!
