Tour of the Pärnu Museum permanent exhibition “Madonna and Key. Manifesto and Bathing Van”

The Pärnu Museum tour “Four Stories of Pärnu” helps you get to know Pärnu through unique local tales. During the tour,we explore the four thematic halls of the permanent exhibition “Madonna and Key. Manifesto and Bathing Van,” as well as the open storage.

In the exhibition “The Source of Our Story,” we get acquainted with the first local inhabitants and the mysteries of the Stone Age. Next, in the “Story of Two Cities” hall, we explore the development of the local urban environment through the two Pärnus and later strategic choices. In the “Birth of the Nation State” exhibition, we follow the rise of Estonian self-awareness and the creation of the Republic of Estonia. Finally, in the “Summer Capital Pärnu” hall, we venture through the colorful history of Estonia’s premier resort. At the end of the tour, we step into the open storage for a behind-the-scenes look at museum work.

The tour lasts 50 minutes.
