you to walk, elegant architecture, and a rich calendar of events have made P\u00e4rnu <a href=\"https:\/\/visitparnu.com\/en\/top-20-attractions-in-parnu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one of Europe\u2019s most versatile destinations<\/a>.<\/p><p>Tourism has been putting bread on the table of the people of P\u00e4rnu <strong>since 1838<\/strong>, when the first bathing establishment founded in the city of P\u00e4rnu, aspiring to become the representative resort of Tsarist Russia, began to host travellers from all over the world.<\/p><p>Although <a href=\"https:\/\/visitparnu.com\/en\/parnu-beach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beach holidays<\/a> and spa treatments are an inherent part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/visitparnu.com\/en\/spa-holidays\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">resort town<\/a>, the city of P\u00e4rnu is not just a holiday mecca, but also a great place for one to call home.<\/p><p>The advantages of P\u00e4rnu as a living environment and as a travel destination have not gone unnoticed by the general public \u2013 recently, the international sustainable tourism organisation Green Destinations selected P\u00e4rnu as one of the <strong>100 most sustainable destinations in the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element green city \u2013 as much as a fifth of the city\u2019s area is taken up by various green spaces: wooded areas, alleys, and parks with indigenous trees and gardens.<\/p><p>The sea, the rivers, the beaches, the promenades, and the abundance of parks and wooded areas make P\u00e4rnu a place of varied nature, unlike any other in Estonia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div cultural heritage that recognizes national parks and national park region businesses for the protection of natural and cultural heritage. In Estonia, activities are coordinated by the Environmental Board.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Visitors to P\u00e4rnu have the opportunity to contribute to the sustainability of the region by using the following services of certified companies:<\/p><p>Soomaa National Park:<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/soomaa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Viis aastaaega<\/a>, which brings together local nature guides, who take visitors to explore the diverse nature of Soomaa National Park by canoe, bicycle, swamp horse or sled.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/visitparnu.com\/en\/objekt\/hiking-services-of-tipu-nature-school\/\">Tipu Nature School<\/a> offers a hikes, camps, trainings and opportunity to hold a team day or birthday.<\/li><li>Located in the middle of wild nature, on the banks of the picturesque Halliste River,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/visitparnu.com\/en\/objekt\/soomaa-holiday-village\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Soomaa Holiday Village<\/a>\u00a0offers accommodation, a sauna experience and various active activities.<\/li><li>At\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/visitparnu.com\/en\/objekt\/the-smell-of-apples-and-cultural-history-at-piesta-kuusikaru-farm-in-vandra-forest-in-parnu-county-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Piesta Kuusikaru farm<\/a>, modern farm production and rich cultural heritage are intertwined.
