Pärnu Muusikafestival 2022 / PASS
Pärnu Music Festival will take place in Estonia’s summer capital of Pärnu on 13-22 July, and this time it will be celebrating the 85th birthday of maestro Neeme Järvi. 100 lucky fans will be able to secure their festival passes at the end of this year.
This coming year will be the 12th time that the internationally renowned classical music festival will be staged.
The programme includes two highly anticipated end-of-the-festival concerts, performed by the Estonian Festival Orchestra, and conducted by Paavo Järvi. Each year, the audience has been enticed with a few surprises by world class soloists, and the upcoming music summer will be no exception.
Pärnu Music Festival Managing Director Kristjan Hallik: “We have planned more concerts in the upcoming festival week than ever before,” who added that the final programme, as in former years, will be announced in spring.
According to Hallik, this year is the first time that fans can purchase blind passes from 6 December, and, if previous years are anything to go by, the passes will be in high demand. “We are fulfilling the wishes of the most ardent fans,” he added.
Hallik also noted that the Järvi Academy masterclasses for young musicians and conductors are an integral part of Pärnu Music Festival. The masterclasses will be taught by Neeme Järvi, Paavo Järvi and several others. Registration and the submission of applications will start in the new year.
Also, as in the past two years, it will be possible to watch the music events unfold on the Pärnu Concert Hall stage from anywhere in the world via Pärnu Music Festival TV: https://parnumusicfestival.tv/pmf
