"UNFORGETTABLE. Shades Empowered by Theatrical Art" is Toomas Pikhof's fourth solo exhibition, which is essentially an emotional and sentimental journey into unforgettable experiences born of theatrical art through abstract painting. Moments captured as visual emotions carry shades empowered by psychological drama, historical novels, and tragic love stories experienced on theater stages, emphasizing the importance of theatrical art in human development.

The exhibition is dedicated with great gratitude to beloved director Priit Pedajas, whose creative work has an invaluable impact on human emotional development. Pedajas’ productions are all independent works of art, as he never addresses a theme that should affect someone else but matters to the director himself.

The exhibition was first presented in October 2024 at the Viimsi Art Gallery of Contemporary Art. A film of the full exhibition, which consists of 54 paintings, is available to watch via this LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxFog2KHKnU The exhibition can be seen in 2025 at the Rakvere Theatre, Tartu Karlova Theatre, Pärnu Endla Theatre, Paide Music and Theatre House, Kuressaare Theatre, Nõmme Culture Center, and Ugala Theatre.

The author thanks everyone whose creativity or contribution to the theater world made this exhibition possible: Priit Pedajas, Riina Degtjarenko, Merle Palmiste, Merle Karusoo, Ingomar Vihmar, Pille Jänes, Ülle Kaljuste, Lauri Lagle, Kristo Viiding, Sten Karpov, Taavi Teplenkov, Kaie Mihkelson, Viire Valdma, Ain Lutsepp, Rein Oja, Maarit Randrüüt, Inna Narro, Johan Randvere, Hele Kõrve, Kristjan Kasearu, Meelis Pai, Eda Kaljo, Aldo Niilus, Silvia Savik, Meeli Eelmaa, Katrin Roosileht, Anna-Liisa Õispuu, Priit Hummel, Kaire Vilgats, Maite-Margit Kotta, Andres Dvinjaninov, Jaagup Kreem, Andre-Harlet Elvisto. Toomas Pikhof (born 1973) is characterized by an intellectual, distinctly poetic approach to the subject, focusing on the emotional and spiritual journey through feelings. As a painter, he has taken a romantic position in a meditative cosmic space captured in abstract acrylic paintings. His work focuses on awakening the potential hidden in human consciousness and expanding the boundaries of perception. Through care and love, he focuses on depicting feelings, addressing the connections between reason and perception using various media such as painting, words, sound, and moving images. Toomas Pikhof's work can be explored in the Artvertigo online gallery at www.artvertigo.ee.

In addition to his dedication to painting, Toomas Pikhof has worked for a total of 15 years at the Estonian Puppet and Youth Theatre and the Estonian Drama Theatre as a marketing director. He currently works at Pirita Economic Gymnasium as a school principal, is a trainer and conducts creativity training aimed at helping people discover their true essence. He has published a poetry book titled "I Burn. Unkissed Kisses" in 2023, his first children's book "The Moon’s Faith or How the Fir Got Its Name" in 2020, and his second children's book "The Nibbling Kitten" in 2024.
