The plow exhibition created in Kurgja is dedicated to two very important events:

 

Firstly, on August 11, 2024, it marks the 150th anniversary of the first plowing competition organized by Kurgja's master and the head of the Pärnu Farmers' Society, Carl Robert Jakobson, for Estonian farmers.

 

Secondly, this year Estonia had the honor of hosting the world's premier agricultural machinery event - the 69th World Plowing Championship.
