On January 25, all textile art enthusiasts are invited to participate in the joint introduction of two exhibitions!
There are two exhibitions introducing Estonian textile art in Pärnu – the exhibition (Au)hinnatud. Estonian Textile Artists' Union 30 at Pärnu Town Hall Gallery and the Union's annual exhibition The Color of the Year is Varied at the New Art Museum. Since the first one is coming to an end, we invite everyone to the introduction of the exhibitions starting at 12:00 on January 25!

The tour begins at 12:00 at the exhibition (Au)hinnatud. Estonian Textile Artists' Union 30 at Pärnu Town Hall Gallery (Uus St 4, Pärnu), curated by Helen Adamson and Triin Jerlei. The aim of the exhibition is to discuss the importance of the Estonian Textile Artists' Union (ETeKL) in supporting local textile art. In addition to context-providing material, the exhibition also showcases the artistic activities of the artists: the exhibition features works by nearly thirty authors who have successfully participated in international exhibitions, created during the union's years of activity. More information about the exhibition can be found here: https://linnagalerii.ee/eesti-tekstiilikunstnike-liit-30/

At 13:30, the ETeKL annual exhibition The Color of the Year is Varied will be at the New Art Museum (Rüütli St 40A), introduced by curator Aet Ollisaar, ETeKL board. The annual exhibition of the Estonian Textile Artists' Union has become a tradition and is a long-awaited event for both participants and the audience, open until 2 March 2025. The Estonian Textile Artists' Union brings together artists with very different author positions and creative styles, where textile is a central material, and the annual exhibition at the New Art Museum also highlights this year's union award laureates. More information about the exhibition can be found here: https://mona.ee/eesti-tekstiilikunstnike-liidu.../
Entrance to the UKM event is with a ticket, free with a museum card, discounted for members of the artists' union, and free for members of the Estonian Textile Artists' Union.
