The name of the quartet, founded by violinist Jacky Molard and saxophonist François Corneloup, could be translated as in-between countries. In this no-man's land, contemporary jazz and improvisational music sound both novel and familiar: there is music from Great Britain, Irish dances and Balkan rhythms. The unique soundscape of the acoustic quartet transcends the boundaries of nations and styles taking listeners on a  journey with them.
