In the Year of the Book 2025 poetry salons, we meet poet-birthday celebrants once a month.

On April 26, poet and librarian Berit PETOLAI will be a guest.
Berit lives in the small village of Meoma in Peipsiääre parish. She is a writing gatherer and mother of three daughters. Her debut collection "The Humming Winds of Meoma" (2019) was nominated for the Betti Alver debut award. In 2021, Berit received the Juhan Liiv poetry prize for the poem "Tõnkadi-lõnk."
The guest will be conversing with Jaak Känd.

The salon evening will be warmed up by a mini poetry program "Sun spendthrifts."
Artur Alliksaar's 102nd birthday is on April 15.
Poetry will be read by the creative collective Two Jaaks.
