On May 14 at 18:00, poet and Sunday photographer Juli Suvi will present her poetry program "Born in the Warm Embrace of the Homeland" in the hanging hall of Pärnu Central Library.

Poetess Suvi has been writing poetry for approximately three decades. However, a new journey began at the end of 2020—combining images with poetry, which has resulted in the publication of seven poetry and picture books to date.
In her poems, she uses imaginative wordplay ("Still rolling charming columns at the water's edge," "Hear? New winds of poetry on the trees' bones!"), as also reflected in the title of the program. In "Born in the Warm Embrace of the Homeland," the author has chosen poetry and picture pieces that highlight the charm of the Estonian language and the riches of Estonia.
