A genuine blue-black-and-white marathon offers the opportunity to run a course on a unique and unrepeatable route, taking participants past significant historical monuments and showcasing the beautiful nature of Pärnumaa: Pulli village, the site of an ancient settlement, the Outdoor Center by the Reiu River, the eye-catching Coastal hiking trail, Tallinn Gate, Pärnu Beach – these are just some of the landmarks, making the marathon experience truly unique.

In addition to the marathon starting from Tori, the sports day program includes a half marathon starting from Paikuse and a quarter marathon starting from Eagle Golf. In 2025, for the first time, there will also be a 10 km trek (walking, Nordic walking). Additionally, there are children's races aimed at the youngest family members. In 2025, the event will traditionally take place on June 22nd.

The Pärnumaa Victory Day Marathon tells a special story: Pärnumaa has strong connections in terms of achieving Estonia's independence. As the marathon's slogan says, "The flame comes from the roots." Estonia's oldest settlement site has been found in Pulli village, which is on the marathon course, and the "Manifesto to the Peoples of Estonia" was declared from the balcony of Endla Theatre in Pärnu. Since each year the victory flame lit by the president at the Victory Day parade is empowered a day earlier at the Memorial Flame in Tori's Estonian Warriors Memorial Church, which the marathon runners then bring to Pärnu, the sporting event also carries a special, ritual role.
