ORGANIZERS - Pärnumaa Association of Local Authorities, Pärnu-Jaagupi Community Center, and Nooruse Maja
GOAL - To activate and develop the activity of Pärnumaa school theaters, raise public awareness of school theater activities as part of education, and encourage the emergence of new theater groups. To determine the best of the age group for participation in the national festival.

JURY, EVALUATION, RECOGNITION
Performances are evaluated by a jury of up to three members, one of whom is a representative of the Estonian Amateur Theaters Association.
Criteria evaluated: acting skills, stage movement, voice usage, musical design, light design, costumes, decorations, the relevance of the theme to the age group, teamwork of the troupe, director's work. The jury discusses the performances with the directors and troupe leaders. The jury will select the best from each age group and also award special prizes (e.g., best actor). The winner of the age group will represent Pärnumaa at the national school theaters festival.
National school theaters festivals "School Theater 2025" will take place:
• State Festival for the Primary School Age Group on April 25-26 in Tallinn (Tallinna Ühisgümnaasium).
• State Festival for the Basic and High School Levels on May 16-18 in Jõgeva. Performances will take place at Jõgeva Basic School and Jõgeva Cultural Center.
The conditions for the Pärnumaa preliminary round of the School Theater Festival are based on those of the national festival.
