UV radiation is invisible but impactful. It penetrates the atmosphere, affects materials, and shapes the world in ways that may not be immediately noticeable to the naked eye. When the UV factor is 9, it denotes intense radiation – something that demands attention and whose impact cannot be ignored. The same applies to this exhibition.

The works of the Art School photography club students are not gentle, delicate captures, but rather strong-character images born in digital cameras and phones, but take their final form on paper through historical photographic techniques – cyanotype and gum bichromate. These processes rely on UV light, which etches the image into chemistry, leaving a mark on the paper that is lasting, intense, and unique.

There is nothing random or soft here. These are images that require light to be born and light to be understood. These are the visions of young photographers, with a high UV factor and an even stronger impact.
