The aim of the Pärnu Contemporary Music Days 2025, organized by the Estonian Arnold Schönberg Society, is to explore the connections between surrealism, which turned 100 years old in 2024, and music through collaboration between composers, performers, and representatives from other fields. The program of Pärnu Contemporary Music Days 2025 includes an interdisciplinary surrealist music workshop, symposium, concerts, presentations of works, joint listening and viewing sessions. The goal of the workshop is to apply surrealist techniques to create an interdisciplinary multimedia composition. Creative individuals from various fields worldwide will be invited to the workshop and symposium to collaborate with Estonian composers, performers, and creatives from other fields. As part of the Contemporary Music Language Project, the compilation of a Wikipedia-based Contemporary Music Language Handbook will continue.
