Orienteering Game in Pärnu Day "Poetic Pärnu"

In the year 2025, dedicated to the Estonian book, we offer joy to the residents and visitors of Pärnu with the urban exhibition "Poetic Pärnu".

Thirteen information boards with poems written about Pärnu will be set up in the city center, beach area, Ülejõe, and the former Riga suburb at the beginning of Riga road. The boards will feature poems and their performances by actors from the Endla Theatre. Additionally, the boards will display historical photos, the poet's portrait, and additional information about the author and their work. The exhibition “Poetic Pärnu” will be on display from April 5 to October 31, 2025.

A map guiding to the “Poetic Pärnu” locations can be taken along for a walk from the Pärnu Central Library and the Pärnu Museum.

On April 5th, the traditional orienteering game can be played:

• orienteering sheets are available at the information desk of the Pärnu Central Library and the cash desk of the Pärnu Museum
• match the writer on the orienteering sheet with their poetry stand
• return the completed sheet to the information desk of the Pärnu Central Library or the cash desk of the Pärnu Museum
• prizes will be drawn among those who answered correctly on Monday, April 7!
