Mozart´s requiem is one of the most famous major vocal oratorical works in the history of music. This piece is still surrounded by bitter-sweet mystery, but it is a fact that the requiem was one of Mozart’s last works, one which was completed by a student of his after his own death. Any performance of this exceptionally beautiful and grandiose masterpiece is a grand event in anyone’s musical life.
