Times and prices
04.02.25
On February 4th at 17:00, Armin Kõomägi will meet literature enthusiasts in the large hall of Pärnu Central Library.
Armin Kõomägi's debut collection "Amatöör" was published in 2005, followed by several successful novels and short story collections. The short story "Anonüümsed logistikud" received the Friedebert Tuglas Short Story Award in 2006 and was included in the "Best European Fiction 2012" anthology. His first novel "Pagejad" (2009) is a tragicomic glimpse into the lives of five characters, where a supermarket represents the supremacy of our society. The popular novel "Lui Vutoon" (2015) also centers on an abundant shopping center, witnessed in its decline by (almost) the only surviving person on Earth. "Lui Vutoon" won the first prize in the Estonian Writers' Union novel competition.
Participation in the meeting evenings is free. You are welcome!
The author will bring a limited quantity of his short story collections for sale during the meeting, and cash is preferred for purchases.
