I, Maiduk, with the citizen name Mait Vesker, decided one fine day that I had enough of other people's creations and it's time to engage with my own. I entered and got into the theater school, but I couldn't listen to that hippie talk for long. More action and less talk was needed. Ironically, I found my place in blabber art – stand-up comedy.

“Great Pigsty” is a summary of my two-year stand-up career. There's not much talk about pigs. So, what is it about? It seems you'll have to buy a ticket and find out for yourself. Every Estonian stand-up comedian's dream is to visit all the smaller and even smaller places. Since Tallinn and Tartu have already been conquered, our pillaging tour will also bring us to Võru, Haapsalu, Virtsu's Mutionu Bar and finally to Keila.
I've had to endure constant criticism from the godfathers of Estonian stand-up for violating conventional rules, opposing all the time, etc. They are slowly getting the feeling that I don't respect the hard work they put into setting the rules. To atone for this sin, I will do something traditional and rule-abiding – write quotes from others about me below. Please enjoy this praise and be aware that at least 100 drunk guys at parties have said – “you are doing an amazing thing!”.

“Oh, he was so wonderfully on TV, left a much more pleasant impression than that clown Niinemets. I'd really like to go see his show.”
- 83-year-old grandma's friend Helma. But Helma, keep that image, buy a ticket, but please don't come.
I'm also Daniel Veinbergs' favorite comedian:
“I've been in Estonia for only a few months and he's already one of my favorite comedians,” said the president of the autism association once.
“The people next to me had faces as if they were uncomfortable laughing at such things, but they laughed anyway.”
- a cool DJ with an expensive watch, 38 years old
“I swipe all comedians right on Tinder, except for Maiduk. I can't be bothered. I've seen how he looks at my ass.”
- Maria Sepp, 32 years old (I've heard she's called the female Maiduk. Please never repeat such a thing anywhere again.)
“You had a very good first 15 minutes.”
- Sander Õigus
“My colleagues went to see you and were uncomfortable at first, but then started to like it.”
- 33 years old, Former financial analyst.
“The funniest comedian in Estonia”
– Kohver, 37 years old – (said this to some Eurovision organizer to sneak me in for free, basically worked!)
“Mait, you post such filth on the internet that you should sink into the ground with shame”
– grandma Laine 83 years old
