The Children's and Youth Dance Festival KOOLITANTS is coming back!

This spring, Koolitants returns to once again spotlight dance as an art form and remind us that enjoying dance is an accessible and enriching experience for everyone!

Koolitants dance days will be held in 2025 as a two-stage event.
From February 1 to March 17, county dance day concerts will take place in Kuressaare, Rakvere, Pärnu, Tallinn, Viljandi, Valga, Võru, and Tartu, with final grand concerts taking place at the beginning of May at the Paide Music and Theater House.
We will once again travel across Estonia to light up the stages of concert and theater halls with dance and get the audiences involved!

The hosts for the dance day concerts are Oliver Reimann and Aaron Thor Härm.
The jury for the Koolitants 2025 county dance days includes Tiina Ollesk, Sandra Põld, and Juulius Vaiksoo. Additionally, special prizes at the county dance days will be awarded by a youth jury of the Estonian Youth Dance Association who have undergone dance training.

From each county dance day concert, the dance that receives the most SMS votes from the local audience will go on to the audience favorite selection for the TV6 television show.
In the television show, the audience's favorite dance of Koolitants 2025 will be the one that receives the most votes. The televised show will use footage from the county dance days.
Price and number always the same: 15330 - 0.99 €
In the SMS, you must write the dance's order number (and nothing else).

As guests, you'll see dazzling excerpts from professional dance performances that provide inspiration for both young dancers and the audience:

DanceMENU / “Field” / Maria Uppin-Sarv, Valeria Tagel (at concerts starting at 3 PM in Kuressaare and Rakvere, at noon at the first dance days in Tallinn and Tartu)
The performance takes the viewer into fields of accompanying beauty. It is a journey where beauty, happiness, and joy emerge as a random side effect of bad circumstances, offering support and helping maintain hope.

DanceMENU / “Rhythm” / Allar Valge (at noon at concerts in Pärnu, Harjumaa, and Viljandi)
“Rhythm” brings the audience various expressions from the performances of legendary tap dancers a hundred years ago and also explores the world of anxiety disorders through the prism of tap dance.

DanceMENU / “Change” / Igor Lider (at concerts starting at 6 PM in Viljandi and the second dance day in Tartu)
The dance performance “Change” invites the viewer into the fascinating world of street dance.

DanceMENU / “Soledad” / Ingrid Mugu (at concerts starting at 6 PM in Pärnu, Harjumaa, and Tallinn)
In a performance where flamenco culture meets contemporary dance, one moves through various stages and moods of loneliness.

Fine5 Dance Theater / “Just Behind the Eyes” / Tiina Ollesk, Renee Nõmmik (at the first dance day in Tartu at a concert starting at 6 PM)
A Fine5 Dance Theater performance where the visible and invisible world behind the eyes wishes to intertwine and unfold before the viewers in a choreographic form through spacetime.

“Chains” / Maria Solei Järvet (at a concert starting at noon in Võru)
How to let things be part of our lives without defining our lives?

“Watercolor” / Maria Solei Järvet (at concerts at 7 PM in Valga and 6 PM in Võru)
A short performance about temporary traces that appear when a brush touches the water surface.

At the final concerts, the ETA Company will perform, featuring Marko Reitalu, Daniela Privis, Juulius Vaiksoo, and Mariann Onkel.

We invite all dance enthusiasts, parents, dancers, and supporters to the dance day concerts, where thousands of young dancers from across Estonia will take the stage in theaters and concert halls!
