On February 5th at 3 PM, an art exhibition themed around Ferenc Molnár's work "The Paul Street Boys" will be opened in the children's section of the Pärnu Central Library. The exhibition will showcase book illustrations and photo stagings created based on the novel, which were made as part of a nationwide student competition held in 2023.

The exhibition was first opened in March 2024 at the Liszt Institute's gallery. The grand prize of the art competition was awarded to students Gregor Ild and Robin Loorits from Pärnu Free School. The winning pair visited Budapest with their mentor Juta Ild and got acquainted with the streets, literary, and art life of Pest. At the opening of the exhibition in Pärnu, the boys will also share their travel impressions and the background of their lively photo staging.

The exhibition is open until February 25, 2025.

The project was created in collaboration with the Liszt Institute - Hungarian Cultural Center Tallinn, the Estonian Art Schools Union, and the Fenno-Ugria Foundation.
