Exhibition "Christening"

Christening (also known as the "varud," "joodud," or "risted") is a family celebration marking the baptism and naming of a child, associated with the baptism ceremony in church or at home. 

This exhibition has been made possible thanks to the community members of the Paikuse district, who generously agreed to share their items. On display are christening gowns and hats from 1944-1995, photos, silver spoons, cups, christening cards, baptism certificates, name books, pacifiers, and many other items related to the christening day.
