Evening Talk “Stories of the 4 Pillars” – Arto Saar

On January 8, 2025, at 19:00, it will once again be possible to participate in the series of evening talks “Stories of the 4 Pillars” at Restaurant Kolhethi in Pärnu. The guest for the third meeting of this season is Arto Saar – an alumnus of the University of Tartu Pärnu College. Arto has been the mayor of Järva Municipality and serves as the development and community manager for the football club Paide Linnameeskond.

Arto volunteers as a rescuer in the Järva-Jaani Firefighting Society and contributes significantly to the development of the Järva-Jaani Museum. Additionally, he founded MTÜ Isevärki, through which the former vocational school of Järva-Jaani has been restored and renovated.

His activities do not stop there – Arto is a member of the board of the Järvamaa Sports Union and is also active in Järva Development Partners MTÜ and the council of Järvamaa non-profits. He is also a member of the Järva Municipal Council, constantly working to ensure that the Järvamaa community grows and develops.

The evening talk is always led by the engaging Meelis Sarv, who creates a warm and homely atmosphere for the event. The musical interlude will be performed by Peeter Kaljumäe, adding mood and special sparkle to the evening.

The evening talk “Stories of the 4 Pillars” takes place every month on the second Wednesday at Restaurant Kolhethi. Meelis Sarv's guests are interesting individuals somehow connected to Pärnu College: alumni, former and current employees, partners, and others.

The event is free for all interested.
