Dandelion Festival 2025

Come spend a lovely spring day at the Dandelion Festival on Saturday, May 17, held in Kihlepa village, in the yard of the Kihlepa community house. Kihlepa is a place where dandelions bloom abundantly in spring, which is why this nature-friendly and cheerful plant has become the symbol of the festival.

The Dandelion Festival brings together community, crafts, and culture. The day is full of good music, inspiring workshops, delicious gastronomy, and joyful gatherings.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
– Handicraft fair with several craftsmen and local product vendors
– Workshops and lectures on various nature and handicraft topics
– Live music with a diverse lineup of performers
– Local cafés and food vendors will be present at the fair to offer delicious treats

PERFORMERS SCHEDULE:
10.00 – Opening speech
11.00 – Lindi School ensembles: Lindi Waves, Lindi Instrumental and Singing Children
12.00 – Folk dancers from Tartumaa: Chrysanthemum, Clematis, Salome, Joy Rolls
14.00 – Olavi Kõrre and the band Yellow House
15.00 – Ahaste dance group Havadarž
The evening will end with communal singing.
