Charity Concert "With Ukraine in Heart" Mayboroda National Bandura Players' Capella

Ukraine's oldest creative collective, now 106 years old - the National Bandura Choir of Ukraine, is conducting a charitable event through a concert tour in European countries with the aim of collecting funds for the promotion of Ukrainian culture, the Ukrainian armed forces, and Ukrainian arts.
 

The National Bandura Band of Ukraine consists of 45 talented musicians who sing and play the bandura simultaneously, carrying the ancient gene of kobzarism, inherent only to the Ukrainian people. Despite all efforts by totalitarian regimes to destroy it, this tradition has only grown stronger.

Every year, the choir holds a competition to select the most worthy and bright personalities to continue promoting this unique cultural tradition. Currently, 9 members of the bandura band are defending their homeland in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, resisting Russian aggression with arms in hand.
 

The concert program "With Ukraine in Heart" includes famous Ukrainian folk songs, authentic melodies from different regions of Ukraine, patriotic songs, and some Ukrainian pop music hits. The group also includes an orchestra, allowing listeners to enjoy a variety of musical instruments such as the flute, cymbals, double bass, clarinet, bayan, and various percussion instruments.
 

The concert duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes without intermission.

During the war, the capella has received a special permit from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy in Ukraine to leave for concert tours in European countries.
