Art Society CDE Exhibition "In the Footsteps of Rotiküla"

ART SOCIETY CDE 

We are located in the old town of Tallinn on Vene Street 6. There are around twenty active members. We are all adults (aged 25 to 86) from various walks of life. Among us, there are also professional artists. We sculpt clay, paint porcelain and silk, and experiment with glass mosaics. Work takes place from September to May, and we organize at least one exhibition each year. This year, we have worked on an exhibition for the Raeküla Old School Center.
 

Initially, the idea behind the name was associated with rats, but as the theme developed and the works were completed, it turned out that the approach was rather to everything surrounding us, especially nature motifs. The exhibition became bright in tone, and we hope to brighten some moments with our works. 
 

Glass mosaics were made by Eelin Tiidema, Kersti Otu, and Lea Teeääre.

Porcelain was painted by Helju Kraus, Piret Mikk, and Lea Teeääre.

Ceramics were handled by Eelin Tiidema, Tiiu Saar, Helju Kraus, Kersti Otu,

Evelin Haljas, Helle Paulson, Külli Mihkla, Mari Virkus, Kadi Villem, and

Imbi Mihheljus. Portraits were painted by Imbi Mihheljus.

Eelin Tiidema and Lea Teeääre oversaw the entire preparation.
