The light festival ÖÖvalgel

The light festival ÖÖvalgel takes place on September 28th; 29th and 30th 2023 in Pärnu, Estonia.

The annual light festival ÖÖvalge, which takes place on the last weekend of September, is the largest cultural event in Pärnu, where light projection shows are performed in various locations in the city of Pärnu three evenings in a row. It is a festival of light theater, where stories are told through light and video projections, with the main character always being a living person. The productions have been created especially for the festival and all the stories are related to man and being human - love, nature, dreams, journeys, goodness and evil.
Performances will take place in the downtown and beach area of Pärnu. The venues are just a short walk away from each other. Thus, the festival is a stroll along the streets and parks of Pärnu.

Festival follows government orders regarding COVID-19 virus.
