Pärnu Organ Festival - UKRAINIAN RHAPSODY - Inna Lisniak (bandura and vocals), Ines Maidre (organ)

For the first time, the organ and the Ukrainian national instrument bandura sound together.  The bandura repertoire has its roots deep in Ukrainian culture, and alongside the old folk melodies, new and exciting music is emerging today. The instrument, which is related to zither and lauto, is often used to accompany  folk songs.
