Concert by piano trio Sempre musica

We invite you to an evening of chamber music, where the pearls of the piano trio genre will sound.
The musical ensemble conducts an active concert activity both in Latvia and abroad.The artists of the ensemble are laureates of international competitions, graduates of the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music. The members of the trio have rich creative experience, work in various genres with musicians from different countries, take part in solo projects, play in chamber ensembles and orchestras. The concert program for autumn 2021 is very rich and varied. There will be three very different trios for violin, cello and piano. The musical opuses presented to the listener span three centuries of musical history.The 18th century is represented by a trio of the great Mozart, with its simple and accessible musical language, depth of content and perfection of form.19th century. Russian romanticism. Anton Arensky was a major figure in the Moscow musical life, his music was highly appreciated by Tchaikovsky. The trio in D minor is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding cellist Karl Davydov. The work amazes with sincerity of feelings, beauty of melodies and harmony of musical form.21th century.
