Great summer exhibition "Kings and Guards"
The Pärnu Museum's summer exhibition features richly detailed historical weapons and armour from the collection of antiquary and antique dealer Peter Mustonen. It is a rare opportunity to learn about famous and unique objects from Europe, Persia, and India. Weapons are not just the tools of a warrior: they have been considered a symbol of wealth and social status throughout the ages. More than 130 rare items introduce a variety of weapons and armour and the history of their development from the 8th to the 18th century. The children can pretend to be a viking or a knight and discover the exhibition with the help of a treasure map!
