RäimeWest 2025

RäimeWest 2025 will once again take place at Munalaid harbor on May 10th from 10:00 to 14:00.

 

On stage, Jaan Tätte, Tõstamaa community center circles, the day is hosted by Egert Pull. Children will be entertained by Lotte and NGO Wet Paws. Fish dishes will be prepared by Vladislav Koržets. There is something for everyone!

 

In the coastal village, time is marked by the rhythm of sprat fishing. After a hard and tiring winter, the sprat season energizes the coastal people. Smoking chimneys, simmering boats, and the cries of seagulls around the sprat load are the joyful village sounds of sprat time, which should not disappear, said RäimeWest's idea author, Manija island warden Ülle Tamm.

The idea of the fish-centric study day is to preserve coastal fishing traditions and to value local fish, especially sprat.
